On Friday, September 9th, Affinity is holding its first Art For Animals benefit for the no kill animal shelter, “Austin Pets Alive!”. Hundreds of tattooers from around the world are donating paintings to be auctioned off on this site. All proceeds will be donated to “APA!” and will be used to buy pet supplies and help keep dogs and cats off of other shelters’ euthanasia lists.

The opening party is taking place at Red 7 (611 E 7th St) September 9th at 8pm. There will be friendly people, door prizes, food (courtesy of The Vegan Yacht), and plenty of artwork for your viewing / purchasing pleasure. Online bidding ends October 9th when the paintings are shipped to the winning bidders.
